عن أبي قتادة رضي الله عنه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم سئل عن صوم يوم عاشوراء فقال :(يكفر السنة الماضية) رواه مسلم
ابو قتادہ رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ رسولﷺ سے عاشورے کے روزے کے بارے میں سوال کیا گیا : تو فرمایا کہ: ’’ گذشتہ ایک سال کے(صغیرہ) گناہ کو مٹادیتا ہے۔‘‘
اسے مسلم نے روایت کیا ہے۔
